Bob Nunes

Bob Nunes passed away Saturday, September 4, 2021, succumbing to his battle with Covid-19.

Bob joined the NCOA South Football Division in 2008.  He was the head linesman on Gary Scharmann’s crew through 2014. In 2015, still on Gary’s crew, became the back judge.  Bob gave new meaning to the word hustle! Bob worked freshmen football, mentoring new officials in all positions, and working as a freshmen crew chief for several seasons.  Bob was an active participant in our meetings.  At our clinics, Bob was a big-time seller of “hand spans” of 50/50 raffle tickets and always enjoyed chatting with his fellow officials!

He will be missed by all of us.

We will let you know about memorial services as soon as we know.

R.I.P. Bob

Our summer meetings are being held weekly on Tuesdays via Zoom and start at 6:30p. Members should receive an invitation by email the day of the meeting. The meetings will continue every Tuesday through the end of September.
